CSMS #44197823 - CBP Implements Additional Upgrades to ACE Reports
On September 24, 2020, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) migrated the following reports and data universes in ACE Reports to an upgraded database system to improve performance and data retrieval speeds:
- Importer Trade Activity (ITRAC) reports
- In-Bond universe and reports
More Information on the ITRAC Reports Upgrades
This upgrade provides trade community users with quicker, on-demand access to ITRAC data free of charge. Benefits to the trade community from this upgrade include:
- Access to data instantly instead of several weeks
- Ability to retrieve data equal in size to the data volumes provided in Access files on physical compact discs
Similar to other reports and data universes that have been migrated to this upgraded database system, the workspace containing these enhanced reports is named “ITRAC New.”
The attached file provides instructions for importing data from an Excel spreadsheet to an Access database file.
More Information on the In-bond Reports Upgrades
This upgrade provides carriers with quicker access to In-bond data. Similar to other reports and data universes that have been migrated to this upgraded database system, the workspace containing these enhanced reports is named “In-Bond New.”
