CSMS #43777047 - Reminder - Filer Code Issuance, Running Out of Entry Numbers

CBP is issuing a reminder to filers when they are approaching the point of running out of entry numbers. In situations where they have additional available check digits, the filer should reach out to their assigned Client Representative who will work with them to update their check digit within ACE. If a filer doesn’t know their assigned Client Rep, they may contact ClientRepOutreach@cbp.dhs.gov.

Additionally, if a filer has exhausted all check digits then they will need to work with the Headquarters Broker Management Branch to create a new filer code. Creation of a new filer code takes time and needs to be addressed in advance of the last set of entry numbers ending. Questions on this process should be addressed to brokermanagement@cbp.dhs.gov.
