CSMS #43643753 - Sugar Products of Nicaragua Availability Under Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) Tariff-Rate Quota (TRQ) beginning August 17, 2020.

The 2020 CAFTA Sugar/Sugar Containing Products TRQ (HTS 9822.05.20) for goods of Nicaragua improperly filled on August 5, 2020. The Nicaragua TRQ will reopen on August 17, 2020.

The remaining amount for this TRQ will be 5,332,994 KG.

This amount will become available at 12:01 am local port time on August 17, 2020.

The TRQ closing date December 31, 2020 remains unchanged.

This is not an opening moment event, however as with all first days for quotas, entries submitted prior to 8:30 am ET August 17, 2020 will be counted in the first ACE window at 8:30 am ET. If the totals exceed the limit all accepted entries will be prorated.
