CSMS #43133610 - New Cargo Release “Domestic Cargo Indicator” to be available in CERT and PROD soon

For Cargo Release, in Record Identifier SE20, the new Reference Identifier Qualifier of DCI (Domestic Cargo Indicator) is expected to be in CBP’s CERTIFICATION and PRODUCTION environments on the following dates:

CERT: June 30, 2020

PROD: August 1, 2020

Please refer to the description in the ACE Draft CATAIR Cargo Release chapter for details, and note the following:

This indicator is only allowed on Entry Type 21 submissions. The entry will be rejected if the indicator is used on non-entry type 21 submissions.
If DCI=Y, FDA data is not allowed on the entry. The entry will be rejected if FDA data is present in this scenario.
