CSMS #42613959 - Updated ACE Entry Summary Status Notification CATAIR Now Available on CBP.gov
On June 13, 2020, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will deploy a Post Summary Correction (PSC) functionality enhancement in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). This enhancement will enable CBP users to revert a PSC back to the previous Entry Summary version. When performed, this action will trigger the issuance of a status notification (UC message) to trade filers, including an accompanying reason code to communicate the reason for not accepting the PSC. After the action is taken by CBP, trade filers should proceed with normal post-release processes upon liquidation.
For Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) technical implementation guidance, please refer to the updated Entry Summary Status Notification Draft Chapter on cbp.gov/ace. Please note that this functionality will be available for CERT testing on May 12, 2020.
For additional information, please refer to the ACE Entry Summary Business Rules and Process Document.
