On April 30, 2020, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) deployed performance upgrades to the Entry Summary and Trade Remedy data universes in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Reports application. This deployment marks the culmination of a two-year effort to enhance the performance of ACE Reports by improving access to larger volumes of data.
The enhancements should decrease the time it takes to run ACE reports and reduce the need for manual workarounds that are currently needed to run large data queries. The upgraded data universes are found under the Entry Summary New and Trade Remedy New tabs in the Entry Summary workspace.
Please send any feedback you may have to ace.reports@cbp.dhs.gov. The ACE Reports team is very interested in hearing about user experiences with these upgrades.
Additional data universes and reports will be upgraded gradually and sequentially either individually, or in small groups. The Cargo Release universes and reports will be upgraded soon. This phased approach will ensure that ACE Reports maintains data confidentiality, integrity, and availability throughout the implementation of this modernized solution. Please note, the phased transition means that the performance improvements will only be available within those universes that have undergone the upgrade.
