Harmonized System Update (HSU) 1815 was created on September 21, 2018 and contains 1,230 ABI records and 306 harmonized tariff records.
This update includes modifications made as a result of the United States Trade Representative’s Notice of Action Pursuant to Section 301: China’s Acts, Policies, and Practices Related to Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property, and Innovation published on September 21, 2018, and effective on September 24, 2018.

In addition, changes were completed to Chapter 63, as a result of Presidential Proclamation 9771, To Take Certain Actions Under the African Growth and Opportunity Act and for Other Purposes. These adjustments are effective October 1, 2018.

Further, we have begun modifying our system to support H.R. 4318: Miscellaneous Tariff Bill Act of 2018. Please be aware that only a portion of the records have been added thus far, and have been included in this update. This effort is ongoing and will continue until all changes have been completed. The modifications are effective October 13, 2018 and the bill can be accessed via the link below….

Adjustments required by the verification of the 2018 Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) are included as well.
