Automated Broker Interface
During the course of a Cargo Release or Entry Summary review, CBP may determine that a document previously submitted to DIS is insufficient. If such a determination is made, CBP has the ability to reject that document. If a document is rejected in DIS, the filer will receive a message in the same manner the document was originally submitted (EDI or email) containing the reject notice and reason for rejection. This is the only notification the filer will receive. Technical specifications for the EDI DIS messages can be found at http://www.cbp.gov/trade/ace/catair under the Supporting Documents tab.
