Please be advised that there has been an ACE CERTIFICATION deployment on Wednesday , April 6, 2016, at 1600 ET of the following ACE Cargo Release item:
• SE-7255, 7372 and 7473 – Entry Port Association Functionality
a. Freight arrives in one Port and entry is made at a second Port. Both Ports share the same geographic location and are generally managed by the same Port Director.
b. Like ACS, for entry & release purposes, ACE Cargo Release functionality will allow Port of Unlading and Port of Entry to be different without an associated in-bond.
This is critical functionality needed by filers, some who have not been able to file certain entries the way they did in ACS, impacting their business operations on a day-to-day basis.
