REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)
USDA Rural Development (RD) is seeking information on how an interested contractor could provide loan servicing (current, delinquent, and terminated loans) and grant servicing: loss mitigation services; bankruptcy and foreclosures services; management and disposition of acquired properties; and provide accounting reports/data for the Single- Family Housing (SFH) Direct Loan portfolio, a complex loan type portfolio.
The RFI/Source Sought was posted on SAM.GOV at https://sam.gov/opp/275644dfed864823bdfa650bdea4f2a5/view and on GSA on June 3, 2025. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the USDA RD is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM and GSA eBuy. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
There will be an informative Industry Day, tentatively the week of July 7, 2025. More details will be posted on SAM.GOV. Responses are due no later than Wednesday, July 16, 2025, 4:00 PM EST.
