Fiscal Year 2021 Conditional Commitment Notice
As of Wednesday, December 23, 2020, funding for Rural Development’s Single-Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program authorized by the “Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2021” (P.L. 116-225, H.J. Res 107), the “Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2021” (P.L. 116-226, H.J. Res 110), and the “Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2021” (P.L. 116-???, H.R. 1520) (Public Law Reference not yet available), is available. The focus of the Agency is to -process updated Conditional Commitments that were originally issued “subject to the availability of funds” beginning on Friday, December 18, 2020.
This funding may be exhausted prior to the expiration of the Act on Friday, December 28, 2020. Please continue to monitor Agency communications through GovDelivery and the SFHGLP lender page (https://www.rd.usda.gov/page/sfh-guaranteed-lender).
IMPORTANT LENDER INFORMATION:
- The Agency will process updated Conditional Commitments for loans that were originally processed with “subject to the availability of funds” Conditional Commitments.
- Any remaining funds will be allocated to processing outstanding loan files not previously processed as “subject to the availability of funds”.
- We expect to return to issuing Conditional Commitments “subject to the availability of funds” later next week when funds authorized by the “Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2021” (P.L. 116-???, H.R. 1520) are exhausted.
