Continuous Learning Status on your CLIP Dashboard and Submitting an External Continuous Learning Activity Request
The Continuous Learning Individual Progress (CLIP) dashboard in FAI CSOD allows you to monitor your continuous learning (CL) progress for all your certification(s) for the current common continuous learning (CL) period, May 1, 2022 - April 30, 2024. Users will be able to submit an External CL Activity Request to record CL activities that occur outside of FAI CSOD.
Be advised that if you completed an acceptable acquisition related event from an external training provider after May 1, 2022, and you want to receive continuous learning points (CLPs) for the current common continuous learning (CL) period, you must also submit an External CL Activity Request. Follow the guidance below to submit your external CL activity request for approval.
- Login to FAI CSOD.
-
Before submitting an External CL Training Request, check your Continuous Learning Individual Progress (CLIP) Dashboard!
- Mouse over the Learning menu at the top and select Add External CL Activity Request.
- You will be redirected to the required form to request CLPs for external CL activities that were not recorded in FAI CSOD. Please enter the required information. You are required to attach documentation with your request.
- Submit the form.
- After selecting Submit you will be redirected to your Active CSOD transcript.
- Select Mark Complete to the right of the External CL Activity you submitted. It will now be routed to your Mission Area approver.
- To ensure timely processing, submit your external CL activity request as early as practical and at least 30 business days before April 30, 2024.
To streamline CL tracking, the CL achievement certificate has been retired. To document the CL status, certification holders can view and print their CLIP dashboard. Questions regarding this topic, specific agency requirements, or a status update on your submitted external CL activity request can be directed to your Mission Area Acquisition Career Manager Designee.
NOTE: To avoid duplicate CLPs, GSA-offered training will populate to the user’s completed transcript by the end of the following quarter of the event’s completion date when the user provided the correct @usda.gov email address that aligns with the email in their FAI CSOD account. Submission of an external CL activity request for GSA-offered training is not required.
