Secretary Perdue Keynotes Delta Council Annual Meeting in Mississippi
(Washington, DC, June 8, 2017) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will give the keynote address at the 82nd Annual Delta Council Meeting TOMORROW, Friday, June 9th, at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. Secretary Perdue will speak before an estimated audience of 1,500 attendees, including federal, state, and local elected officials; employees of organizations and agencies that work closely with the Delta Council; leaders in agriculture, business, and agri-business; and students. Secretary Perdue will hold the following public event TOMORROW, Friday, June 9th.
