Colleagues,
A little over a year ago, NIFA’s operations officially moved to Kansas City. During this time, our staff have settled in, we have filled many positions, and now our journey is culminating with the move into our permanent Kansas City location at 805 Pennsylvania Avenue in the downtown Kansas City.
Our headquarters remains in the Whitten Building in Washington, D.C. Our official addresses can be found at https://nifa.usda.gov/visit-nifa.
Along every step of the way, we received tremendous support from you as we made this transition. We offer our sincere gratitude for your ongoing partnership.
While NIFA staff continue safe COVID operations, the finishing touches are being added to our new offices and we are excited about our beautiful new space in downtown Kansas City. The move to 805 Pennsylvania Avenue marks an important step in our future. The new office includes ample space for us to hold peer review panels, project director meetings and other NIFA-hosted events in the years ahead.
After the first of the year, we will host an online open house so you can take a virtual tour of our new building and meet many of our new NIFA staff. Watch your email and the NIFA Update for details.
