Cooperative Extension and the Aging Population

By 2050, the U.S. expects to experience rapid growth in its older population, where the number of Americans aged 65 and older will be over 88 million. NIFA supports Cooperative Extension professionals, who provide education and learning activities to farmers and older adults in rural and urban communities.
