The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) invites the public to attend the Pennsylvania State Technical Committee meeting on Oct. 22, 2026. The meeting will be conducted in-person and remotely via Microsoft Teams video conferencing.
Quarterly State Technical Committee Meetings are held to discuss natural resources conservation in Pennsylvania and provide recommendations to NRCS on the implementation of Farm Bill programs.
Along with Farm Bill Program updates, October’s meeting will feature two guest speakers. Sylvan Pritchett of The Nature Conservancy will present a PA NRCS Conservation Innovation Grant (CIG) project entitled “Certified Prescribed Burn Manager Program; and Justin Spangler of LandStudies will discuss the Legacy Sediment Project, another PA NRCS CIG project.
