New Version Available Online!
Version 9.2 of "Field Indicators of Hydric Soils in the United States" is now available online! Version 9.2 includes corrections to version 9.0 (hard copy and PDF) and version 9.1 (PDF). Customers with a hard copy of version 9.0 can download and print a copy of the errata for version 9.0 from the Field Indicators of Hydric Soils in the United States web page. Hard copies of version 9.0 are available from the NRCS Distribution Center; hard copies include a copy of the errata for version 9.0. Version 9.2 is available online only.
"Field Indicators of Hydric Soils in the United States" was developed by NRCS soil scientists in cooperation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service; the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; the Environmental Protection Agency; various regional, State, and local agencies; universities; and the private sector. Included in this publication are the hydric soil indicators approved by the NRCS and the National Technical Committee for Hydric Soils for use in identifying, delineating, and verifying hydric soils in the field.
