   The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) produces this weekly report using data and products from the National Water and Climate Center and other agencies. The report focuses on seasonal snowpack, precipitation, temperature, and drought conditions in the U.S.

A large-scale storm system brought severe weather throughout parts of the Plains, Midwest, and southern U.S. on March 14. Bouts of severe weather continued for days as the system moved east, causing fatalities and extensive property damage. The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center reported over 80 tornadoes, winds over 70 mph, and hail greater than two inches in diameter in the region on March 14 alone. In addition, portions of Texas and Oklahoma experienced hurricane-force winds with gusts over 80 mph during the event, fueling dust storms and wildfires.
