Nomination Period is Now Open for the 2025 NCSS Awards

USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) requests nominations for the 2025 National Cooperative Soil Survey (NCSS) Awards to recognize scientists involved in the Soil Survey Program. Nominations are being accepted in the following categories:

Scientist of the Year
Scientist Achievement
Cooperator Achievement

To nominate an individual, first review the list of NCSS past award recipients (as an individual may only receive an award once) and the NCSS award nomination guidance. Fill out the NCSS award nomination form and submit the form and supporting documentation to Dr. David L. Lindbo, director of the Soil and Plant Science Division, by March 14, 2025.
