Local offices to close between noon and 2 p.m. today, will reopen Friday, pending local conditions.

September 25, Gainesville, Fla - The following NRCS offices will close today by 2 p.m., in anticipation of approaching Tropical Storm Helene which is predicted to reach Florida as a Hurricane Thursday morning.

• Madison
• Live Oak
• Lake City (Field and Area Office)
• Trenton
• Gainesville (Field and State Office)
• Ocala
• Tavares
• Plant City
• Sarasota
• Palmetto Area Office

NRCS will reopen offices on Friday, pending local conditions. Office closures may be added or changed based on the changing trajectory of the storm and local emergency mandates. After the storm, please call ahead before visiting a local office to ensure it is open.
