The Farm Service Agency (FSA) in Fremont County is hiring a 2 year Temporary County Program Technician.

Duties will include:
Carrying out office activities and functions pertaining to one or more of the program areas administered in the county.
Interpreting and explaining procedures, program regulations and forms to producers and other agency personnel.
Using a high degree of initiative and judgement in planning carrying out assigned tasks and resolving problems encountered.
Utilizing various web-based software applications to maintain producer data and processing automated forms.

A high school diploma or GED, along with strong computer skills and customer service experience are required. Basic familiarity with agriculture preferred.
This is a 2 year term, temporary position that has the ability to be converted to a permanent position without further competition. Being converted to a permanent position is not guaranteed. This position is open to the public.
