County Offices are the direct link between FSA and local farmers. FSA helps farmers, producers and landowners make investments or improvements to their agricultural operations and assists producers in recovering from the impacts of natural disasters and market fluctuations.
County Offices are responsible for administering Agency programs at the local level, for providing guidance and assistance to program participants and others, and for leading outreach efforts to explain and promote Agency programs through public events and media presentations.

Program Technicians (PT) work directly with the farmer. PTs are responsible for carrying out office activities and functions pertaining to the program areas administered by FSA.
Successful applicants must be reliable, have a professional attitude and have a high degree of initiative and judgment in planning and carrying out assigned tasks and resolving problems encountered. Applicants should be excited to learn new skills and be willing to work as a team to reach agency goals. Customer service skills are highly valued.
You will utilize various web-based software applications and Microsoft Office applications to maintain producer data and process automated forms.
