NRCS and Nevada Conservation Districts to hold three Local Work Group meetings
RENO, Nev. -- Meetings for Local Work Groups serving the Las Vegas, Fallon and Minden areas will be hold between August 21 and September 5.
Local Work Groups assist the USDA in matters relating to the implementation and technical aspects of conservation programs under the Farm Bill. The meetings include updates from partners, discussion of future project needs to address resource concerns and collecting comments that can be used by the Natural Resources Conservation Service to identify priority resource concerns and conservation practices in specific counties.
The upcoming meetings are:
Las Vegas Local Work Group Meeting
- Monday, August 21 from 9-10:30 a.m.
- The meeting will be held virtually.

Fallon Local Work Group Meeting
