Public Invited to attend the PA State Technical Committee on April 20, 2023
The Pennsylvania State Technical Committee Meeting (STC) will be held on Thursday, April 20th at 1pm. The meeting will be conducted via Microsoft Teams internet conference as well as in person at our State Office, 359 East Park Drive, (USDA conference room), Harrisburg PA.
We will be joined by two distinguished presenters. Sara Nicholas, Policy Specialist from Pasa Sustainable Agriculture and Lisa Miskelly, project partner from Good Work Farm. They will be discussing the Alley Cropping CIG grant- Lessons Learned from the Field.
That is not all! The meeting will cover a variety of topics such as: technical reports regarding engineering, ecological sciences and soils. We will also hear about Partnership and Easement Updates taking place within NRCS. Finally, there will be updates on our Conservation programs. To close out the afternoon, there will be the opportunity for any committee members to share their suggestions for topics or agenda items for future meetings.
