ERP Phase 2 and PARP Signups Continue

Emergency Relief Program (ERP) Phase 2 and Pandemic Assistance Revenue Program (PARP) opened on February 27th and will run through June 2, 2023. Both programs are revenue loss assistance programs that compare a benchmark year (either 2018 or 2019) to a disaster year (either 2020 or 2021). ERP Phase 2 is meant to assist with any crop revenue losses not covered under ERP Phase 1. PARP is intended for producers that suffered at least a 15% loss in revenue in 2020. Payments for these programs will be issued after the signup deadline of June 2nd. We have Fact Sheets available showing what information from your Schedule F Tax Form is required to complete an application. Our office can provide program information, but any specific tax or revenue questions should be referred to your accountant. For program applications and more information click here. Please contact the Grant County FSA Office with any questions.

CRP General Signup Has Begun for 2023

CRP General signup opened on February 27th and will run to April 7, 2023. Under the CRP program, producers and landowners establish long-term, resource conserving practices, that are designed to control soil erosion, improve water quality, and enhance wildlife habitat on cropland. General CRP includes a Climate-Smart Practice Incentive to help increase carbon sequestration and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The average soil rental rate has increased in Grant County from $40 to $49. If you would like to submit an offer, please contact the Grant County FSA Office.
