My name is Amanda Bott. I grew up in Fargo and attended college at NDSU studying Veterinary Technology. I also met my now husband, Branden, while attending college. Upon graduating in 2016 we moved to Bismarck, then to Mandan, and finally to McClusky. We have been married 5 years and have a 1 year old son, Gus. In our spare time we help out with at my family’s farm in Anamoose. My interests include fishing, hunting, watching movies, reading, and spending time with my family. I look forward to getting to know the producers and am excited to be a part of the Sheridan County FSA team!

November 15, 2022 is the final date to file the 2022 FSA acreage report for the following crops: Fall seeded small grains, including winter wheat and rye, intended for harvest as grain in 2023.
Failure to file could result in potential ineligibility for program benefits. Late filed reports will be assessed a late-filed fee. Land that is acquired for the first time after November 15th, must be reported within 30 calendars days of acquisition.
Now would be a great time to inform the FSA and NRCS offices of any changes you have made to your farming operation. Purchases, sales, new leases of tillable and grazing acreage as well as any lost leases on tillable or grazing lands should be reported as soon as possible. If you are forming an entity such as a LLP, Partnership, LLC, Corporation, or if you are putting your land into a trust, please contact the FSA and NRCS offices to discuss the impacts that these decisions will have on your current and future contracts and applications. Also, don't forget to update your direct deposit information when making changes to bank accounts and any changes to your mailing address.
FSA offers direct farm ownership and direct farm operating loans to producers who want to establish, maintain, or strengthen their farm or ranch. Direct loans are processed, approved and serviced by FSA loan officers.
Direct farm operating loans can be used to purchase livestock and feed, farm equipment, fuel, farm chemicals, insurance, and other costs including family living expenses. Operating loans can also be used to finance minor improvements or repairs to buildings and to refinance some farm-related debts, excluding real estate.
Direct farm ownership loans can be used to purchase farmland, enlarge an existing farm, construct and repair buildings, and to make farm improvements.
The maximum loan amount for direct farm ownership loans is $600,000 and the maximum loan amount for direct operating loans is $400,000 and a down payment is not required. Repayment terms vary depending on the type of loan, collateral and the producer's ability to repay the loan. Operating loans are normally repaid within seven years and farm ownership loans are not to exceed 40 years.
