Newly updated soil survey areas available in Web Soil Survey

You are subscribed to either Soil Updates topic or Web Soil Survey topic for Farmers.gov. This information has recently been updated, and is now available.

CORRECTION: NM059 was updated, not NM058.

Also, anyone can check for new updates to surveys by going to Web Soil Survey at https://websoilsurvey.sc.egov.usda.gov/App/HomePage.htm. Click on the big green Start WSS button, next click on Download Soils Data tab, then click on "Soil Survey Area (SSURGO)" link. Click on the calendar icon and choose a date, then click on State and choose a particular State or choose (All states and territories). The system will show you all surveys update since the date you chose.

The following surveys have been updated as out-of-cycle exemptions since the October 1, 2022 Annual Soil Refresh.
