Submit Loan Requests for Financing Early

The Farm Loan team in Dickey/LaMoure County is already working on operating loans for spring 2022 and asks potential borrowers to submit their requests early so they can be timely processed. The farm loan team can help determine which loan programs are best for applicants.

Farm operating and farm ownership loans can help large and small farm operations take advantage of early purchasing discounts for spring inputs as well expenses throughout the year.

Microloans are a simplified loan program that will provide up to $50,000

Farm Storage Facility Loans can be used to build permanent structures used to store eligible commodities, for storage and handling trucks, or portable or permanent handling equipment.

See the Farm Loan Team's contact information below ↓

Please Don't Keep It A Secret!!

If you have changes to your farming operation please don't keep it to yourself. Gaining or losing land? Landowners changed? New breaking? Let Twyla know as soon as possible!! email twyla.trautmann@usda.gov

Letting us know now will save you time later!

Livestock Indemnity Program

This is the time of year that storms kill livestock. The LIP program helps with these losses but you must be prepared. Keep good records of what you have on hand and of what you lost. And if you have a significant loss, ask someone who is not a close relative or employee, like a neighbor, Vet, or even your banker, to witness and vouch for your loss. Pictures help also. I know its not something you like to advertise but it helps simplify the application process.
