New APHIS Website - Quick Links for Agricultural Clearance Information

Have you checked out APHIS’ new website? It has a new look and feel that simplifies its design and functionality, while allowing for the flexibility in organizing information based on stakeholders’ needs.

 

This has been a substantial effort whose roots go back to a 2011 White House Executive Order on streamlining service delivery and improving customer service (EO 13571) that resulted in USDA directing all agencies to migrate their web content into a common look and feel.

 

Since the new websites’ launch, we have been consistently making improvements to make information more easily searchable and accessible.

 

One improvement we’ve recently made is now providing quick links to information that, previously, was housed in our Manual for Agricultural Clearance, an operational manual used by APHIS and Customs and Border Protection to safeguard agriculture and natural resources from the entry, establishment, and spread of animal and plant pests and noxious weeds into the United States.
