Effective June 17, 2011, the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) removed the Pompano Beach area of Broward County, Florida, as a Mediterranean fruit fly (Medfly) quarantine area. As a result, there are no remaining Medfly quarantine areas in Broward County, Florida. For additional information, please see attached memo.
**Please note you may receive duplicate messages from both the old and new PPQ Stakeholder Registry, until the old Registry is disabled July 8.**
