The online Manual for Agricultural Clearance has been revised to update the following topics:

  • Authorizing movement of agricultural cargo without a written permit
  • Sending Specimens for Identification
  • Collecting evidence to assemble a case file
  • Taking action on regulated garbage violations
  • Assessing civil penalties
  • Taking action on firms garbage violations
  • Determining legal authority for assessing a civil penalty
  • Applying a civil penalty
  • Completing CBP Form AI-592, Notice of Violation
  • Completing and distributing PPQ Form 518, Report of Violation

The appendices have been revised to remove Appendix F and rename subsequent appendices.

The Table of Contents, List of Figures, List of Tables, and Index have also been updated.
