IMMEDIATE UPDATE: USDA APHIS PPQ Plants for Planting Manual, 02/2023-100
USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service sent this bulletin at 02/23/2023 03:22 PM ESTThe USDA-APHIS-PPQ Plants for Planting Manual and the Agricultural Commodity Import Requirements (ACIR) database have been updated.
The following changes will be reflected and available to print in eFile by close of business tomorrow.
The reasons for the changes were to align with amendments to Appendices I and II to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). The most recent Conference of the Parties (CoP19) adopted these amendments effective February 23, 2023 (No. 2023/005).
