IMMEDIATE UPDATE: FAVIR and ACIR Databases--8/23/2022

This notice is to alert you to changes in the Fruits and Vegetables Import Requirements (FAVIR) database and the Agricultural Commodity Import Requirements (ACIR) database.

PLEASE NOTE: the following changes will be reflected and available to print in eFile by close of business tomorrow.

Changes port restriction language has been added to clarify port of entry restrictions in the following Commodity Import Requirements (CIRs); these port restrictions are NOT new, they simply spell out the already-existing restrictions.

• Artichoke, Jerusalem (Tuber) from Bahamas, Belize, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, and Panama 
• Avocado (Fruit) from Spain into Continental U.S. Ports

• Cassava (Root) from Brazil into All Ports EXCEPT Hawaii, PR, and USVI 
• Eggplant (Fruit) from Israel into Continental U.S. Ports
• Longan (Cluster of Fruit; Fruit) from Viet Nam into Continental U.S. Ports EXCEPT Florida
• Papaya (Fruit) from Costa Rica into Continental U.S. Ports, PR, and USVI
