IMMEDIATE UPDATE: USDA-APHIS-PPQ Treatment Manual 08/2021-47

The USDA-APHIS-PPQ Treatment Manual has been updated. There were several reasons for the update:

  • Taxonomy change for Bactrocera cucurbitae and B. tau; Bactrocera has been replaced with Zeugodacus cucurbitae and Z. tau
  • Clarified the difference between routine and non-routine packaging
  • Added a list of non-routine USDA APHIS-approved packaging to Chapter 8: Equipment

Revisions are indicated by black change bars in the left margin of each revised page. Taxonomy changes are on numerous pages throughout chapter 05-04 (T100s). Packaging information changes are on pages 2-3-8, 2-3-9,
and 8-1-27.
