Register Today–October 29th BRS Annual Stakeholder Meeting

Dear BRS Stakeholder,

 

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service’s (APHIS) Biotechnology Regulatory Services (BRS) will hold its annual Stakeholder Meeting on Thursday, October 29, 2020, 1:00pm – 3:00pm (EDT). APHIS is hosting a virtual meeting to ensure the health and safety of all stakeholders during the coronavirus pandemic.

We invite you to learn about our ongoing efforts to implement the new Sustainable, Ecological, Consistent, Uniform, Responsible, Efficient (SECURE) biotechnology regulations; look back at FY 2020 and look ahead to our FY 2021 priorities that support protecting plant health through the regulation of organisms developed using genetic engineering.

To ensure we identify the full range of interests, BRS is seeking input on topics to be discussed at the meeting. Please submit comments or suggestions on potential topics of interest by October 14, 2020, to BRS.Stakeholders@usda.gov.
