Do you know a college student interested in exploring ways to serve their country through a career in government while gaining work experience in agriculture, natural resources, and other career fields? Then definitely let them know about the OneUSDA Internship Program for Summer 2020!

The OneUSDA Internship Program, part of the Federal Pathways Program, offers internships with on-the-job experience, mentorship, and training tailored to the student’s education, experience, and interests.

During the Summer of 2020, USDA will hire interns in hundreds of locations in nearly every state for the following occupational fields:

• Veterinary Science
• Biological Sciences (e.g., natural resources management, forestry, wildlife biology, fish biology, ecology, botany, rangeland management, recreation)
• Engineering & Architecture 
• Agribusiness, Contracting, and Procurement
• General Administration and Office Support
• Financial Management
• Information Technology

USDA also made sure that the Summer 2020 OneUSDA internship job announcement is easier-than-ever for students to find and complete. After choosing the geographic location they prefer and the career path that best matches their area of study and professional aspirations at http://www.usda.gov/Internships, students simply follow the links to https://www.usajobs.gov/ to set up an account and apply to the internship.

Students can indicate their preferred occupational area of interest and USDA agency or office when they apply.  USDA is accepting applications until November 15th.
