The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Biotechnology Regulatory Services (BRS) today announced the delay of the spring release for BRS’ updated permitting system in APHIS eFile, to mid-summer.

As the permitting modernization moves forward, we remain committed to bringing you a permitting system that takes advantage of our current capabilities and brings in many new 21^st century features that were not previously available.

APHIS BRS will continue to provide you periodic updates as we move closer to our anticipated release. We greatly appreciate your patience.
