USDA Postpones Jan. 26 Informational Call on Proposed Rule for Importation, Interstate Movement, and Environmental Release of Certain GE Organisms

The United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Biotechnology Regulatory Services (BRS) is announcing the postponement of the Thursday, January 26, 2017, 2:00pm ET informational conference call regarding the proposed revisions to our biotechnology regulations. APHIS BRS will reschedule the call for a later date and update stakeholders regarding the timing.

 

APHIS published the proposed rule on January 19, 2017, and is accepting public comments at www.regulations.gov.
