APHIS Issues Stay on Final Rule to Allow Lemons from Northwest Argentina into the Continental United States

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) in accordance with guidance from the White House issued January 20, 2017, will be issuing a stay for 60 days on its final rule to allow the importation of fresh lemon fruit from northwest Argentina into the continental United States, which was issued on December 23, 2016. This stay will be sent to the Federal Register January 23, 2017
