NOTICE: EIA for Review and Comment by 12-27-16: Ivermectin in Corn Feed to Eradicate Cattle Fever Tick

The United States Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has prepared an environmental assessment (EA) titled, Cattle Fever Tick Eradication Program Use of Ivermectin Corn. The assessment analyzes the potential environmental impact of reducing cattle tick populations on white-tailed deer by feeding them corn treated with Ivermectin. APHIS is requesting that the public review and provide their comments.

Comments may be submitted for review by or before December 27, 2016. All comments received—including the names and addresses of those who comment—will be part of the public record. The record must be released for public review as required and allowed by law.
