Notice of Availability – Draft Environmental Assessment: White-tailed Deer Damage Management in New York

The USDA, APHIS, Wildlife Services (WS) has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA), “White-tailed Deer Damage Management in New York.” The EA analyzes the potential environmental impacts of alternatives for WS involvement in deer damage management. The proposed action is to implement an integrated approach using a variety of methods to reduce deer damage. WS is requesting that the public review and provide their comments on the EA. WS requests that you submit comments on the EA electronically by clicking here or by sending the comments to the address listed. To receive full consideration, WS must receive all comments by the close of business on January 15, 2016. All comments received, including the names and addresses of those who comment, will be part of the public record and will be released for public review as required and allowed by law.
