Posted by Gail Keirn, APHIS Legislative and Public Affairs, (970) 266-6007
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Wildlife Services (WS) program is hosting an Open House at its predator research facility in Millville, Utah, on Thursday, October 1, from 3:30pm-7:30pm.
This free, one-day event is open to the public and will highlight the facility’s mission, expertise, and current research activities, as well as North America’s predators including coyotes, bears, wolves, and mountain lions. Tours of the facility will begin about every 15 minutes.
The facility is part of the WS’ National Wildlife Research Center and conducts research in support of predator damage management. Federal wildlife researchers will share information about their work related to predator populations, ecology, behavior, and damage management.
For more information, please contact the facility at (435) 797-2505.
