Improving USDA Product Specifications and Distribution Requirements: Industry Perspectives

The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to gather industry feedback on USDA Foods product specifications, shipping requirements, and distribution practices. Feedback from the RFI will be used to assess how USDA may be able to identify and update practices that may be burdensome or that may inhibit vendor participation in the USDA Foods program. Responses to the RFI shall be submitted to Sarah Fong and Angela Brochu at CPPNPDNutrition@usda.gov by April 11, 2022.
