USDA is accepting nominations to fill vacancies on the Fruit and Vegetable Industry Advisory Committee. FVIAC provides advice and recommendations to the Secretary of Agriculture on issues of importance to the produce industry.

USDA 2020 Agricultural Outlook Forum

Registration Open

Registration is now open for the 96th annual Agricultural Outlook Forum: Feb. 20-21, 2020, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. The 2020 Forum will feature sessions on current and emerging topics that will influence the future of agriculture, as well as an exhibit hall showcasing resources from USDA agencies and private organizations.

Future Leaders in Agriculture Program

The USDA Future Leaders in Agriculture Program offers undergraduate and graduate students in agriculture-related studies an opportunity to meet with producers, policymakers, business, government and industry leaders at the Forum and to discuss issues at the forefront of America’s agriculture. Apply here for a chance to attend the Forum and participate in a real-world training experience in agribusiness, scientific research and agricultural policy.

 

Pre-Forum Field Trip

Interested in learning about urban agriculture? Join the pre-forum field trip to learn about a local urban farm enterprise and visit with research scientists at USDA’s Beltsville Agricultural Research Center. A nominal fee covers transportation and a boxed lunch.
