Organic Dairy Compliance Course Now Available
A new course on Organic Dairy Compliance is now available in the free, online Organic Integrity Learning Center. The course provides an overview of the USDA organic livestock standards with a special focus on dairy operations. Target audiences include certifiers, inspectors and reviewers who assess organic dairies for compliance with the USDA organic regulations, as well organic livestock and dairy operations interested in gaining a better understanding of the federal requirements.

2019 National List Sunset Review Notice Published
A Federal Register Notice announcing the 2019 National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances Sunset Review is now available. The Sunset process allows for regular review of the National List by the National Organic Standards Board and USDA. The substances included will keep their current status as allowed or prohibited in organic production and handling. Removal of five other substances from the National List are currently under review by USDA.
