Now Hiring Livestock Specialist!

Compliance and Enforcement Division

Join the team of professionals responsible for maintaining the gold standard of organic regulations: the USDA Organic Seal. This small federal enforcement agency oversees the dynamic, growing organic industry and ensures continued consumer trust under increasingly complex supply chains from farm to table worldwide.

The Livestock Specialist will:

Support NOP’s compliance and enforcement activities and lead standards and training development on livestock-related topics.
Lead NOP’s dairy surveillance and compliance program.
Review complaints related to livestock and dairy operations, evaluating evidence, identifying violations, and recommending actions to address areas of concern.

Grade: GS-12/13
Location: Livestock Specialist and Compliance Officer will be based at USDA
headquarters in Washington, DC. (relocation costs may be paid)
Open to: Current federal employees and other qualified U.S. Citizens
