Reorg

Good Morning,

As promised last Friday, I’m sharing a preview of the first round of website updates with you before they are made public. The initial updates are relatively small and primarily involve agency branding. All links should still be in the same location.

Thanks to the GIPSA web council members, IT, and Public Affairs staff who are working to ensure the online transition is seamless for stakeholders and staff.

During December, the web council will continue to meet and plan the details of where and when other pages from the GIPSA and FSA websites will move into the AMS system. Other AMS programs will also be invited to participate in the planning.

This first branding update represent Phase 1 of the website merger. Phase 2 will happen quickly and include updating contact and leadership pages for all programs. Phase 3 will map, prioritize and move all of the FGIS, PSD, Warehouse and International Procurement content that needs to become part of the AMS system. Each program affected will have staff involved in Phase 3 so the right information winds up in the right place.

The following links are not yet public. Please do not share them outside of USDA yet. We appreciate your feedback on this step in the process of combining websites. Comments can be sent to the dedicated reorganization mailbox employeeqs@ams.usda.gov.
