Good afternoon Stakeholder,

The planning teams from GIPSA, FSA and AMS crossed a major milestone last week as we completed high-level organizational charts and projected implementation timelines. The first stages of implementation are already occurring and we intend for the public facing transition to happen by the end of the calendar year.

Below are links to the high-level organizational charts.

AMS Organizational Chart
Federal Grain Inspection Service
Commodity Procurement Program
Fair Trade Practices Program

We have also made significant progress on planning for the migration of IT functions including email, shared drives and VOIP telephones. Guidance will be distributed this week to affected employees.

Last week we asked you, "what does success look like?" and we received some great responses!

Some of the responses we received include:

“A successful transition would be a move with no disruption to our customers.”

“There needs to be a clear understanding of the organization’s vision. Creating a vision will help direct this important change effort. Strategies should be developed for achieving the vision and then metrics can be designed to measure success.”

I Agree!
