Open Enrollment for VISTA Blend Online Courses: Resource Development and Volunteer Mobilization

The passion, energy, and talent you have committed to your VISTA service is an investment in the community.  VISTA offers ways you can invest in yourself and your future, including the free online courses of the VISTA Blend.  

This fall, VISTA is offering courses on resource development and volunteer mobilization that can help you in your service and beyond, while paying dividends of 3 college credits. 

See below for details about the current offerings and how to sign up.  But don’t wait! Enrollment ends September 2.  

Courses are 10 weeks and will run September 9 - November 17  Resource Development: Fundraising & Grant Writing  Develop fundraising tools and strategies  Learn and practice the grant writing process Gain knowledge to create and plan fundraising events Volunteer Mobilization Develop volunteer recruitment strategies Create screening and interviewing protocol Construct volunteer orientations and trainings

Students in these courses will have a chance to connect with other VISTAs and will receive feedback and guidance from a skilled and experienced facilitator.
