Changes for the Fiscal Year 2025 AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Competition

The application due date has been extended for the Fiscal Year 2025 AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Competition. Applications are now due no later than Wednesday, Sept. 25, 5 p.m. E.T. The required match has also been changed to a minimum of 10 percent of total project costs for all applicants.

AmeriCorps is interested in programming that addresses agency funding priorities and encourages applicants to read the full notice for complete descriptions of these priorities

Changes to the Fiscal Year 2025 RSVP Continuation Notice

Note: This section is only applicable to current organizations receiving an AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP grant and are eligible to submit a continuation for Fiscal Year 2025.

Due to the recent publication of the final rule, AmeriCorps Seniors is revising the Fiscal Year 2025 RSVP Continuation Notice of Funding Opportunity. There are two changes:

1. The deadline for application submission has been moved to Wednesday, Sept. 25, 5 p.m. ET.
2. Match requirement for incumbents will be reduced to 10 percent.

The amended notice is available on the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Grantee webpage.

Grantees may adjust their match to a minimum of 10 percent prior to submitting their application by Wednesday, Sept. 25, 5 p.m. ET.

If you have already submitted your Fiscal Year 2025 RSVP Continuation application and you wish to adjust your budget, please contact your portfolio manager by Friday, Sept. 13, and ask them to return your application to you. Please note that you must submit your revised application by Wednesday, Sept. 25, 5 p.m. ET. As a reminder, see Section D.4.c in the notice for the late application process. Please note, budget revisions are not an acceptable reason for a late application.

If you choose not to adjust your match before Wednesday, Sept. 25, there will be time during resolution for you to do so.
